Clearly taking inspirations from the classic Nikon 1960/70's lens barrels,

Voigtlander has brought out a classic styling version of the 58mm f/1.4 and now 40mm f/2. 

Two versions of this lens are available:

black or chrome nose

For full frame or smaller APS-C format

Closer focusing to 1:4 without close up lens which the previous version required!

There are four types of Nikon metering coupling:

NAI (Non AI) metering prong for early Nikon F meters including:

Nikon FTnAI and AIS metering for later film cameras such as the Nikon F2AS,

Nikon FE-2 chipped for modern Nikon DSLRs including the Nikon D850
