The new 28mm E-mount Nokton features outstanding optical performance using two Aspherical Elements with four Aspherical Surfaces and two abnormal Partial Dispersion elements with 10 elements in 8 groups. Even with a fast F1.5 aperture this new E wide angle is only 55mm long.
12-blade aperture diaphragm for beautiful bokeh
The aperture diaphragm is configured with 12 blades to make the aperture opening as circular as possible. This means the out-of-focus areas of images are drawn naturally and point light sources etc. are drawn as soft round bokeh rather than as polygonal shapes.
Minimum focus distance of 0.28 meters
The minimum image capturing distance from the subject to the imaging surface is 28cm. This lens expands the possibilities for imaging utilizing the strong perspective characteristic of the 28mm wide angle lense
Beautiful bokeh is enhanced with “circular bokeh” from the nearly circular apertures. The manual focus 28mm NOKTON FE mount lens is chipped for full interface with Sony full frame or APSC cameras, providing EXIF data, focus assist, auto lens correction, and 5-Axis Image Stabilization (if camera supported). Selective aperture system allows optional clickless video operation.
